The Black Gold Of Health: Black Seed Oil.

What’s Old Is New Again!

From The Tombs of The Mummies, An Ancient Remedy Revealed.

In the days of the “Gold Rush,” men traveled to the Wild, West (1848 thru 1855)  to dig, seek and kill for gold.

Shortly after that in 1859, “oil” and its importance was discovered, and many went to Pennsylvania, the Middle East and “Africa” to dig, find and kill for the BLACK GOLD — OIL/petroleum.

Cumin Medicine Found In King Tut’s Tomb

Today, modern men and women have rediscovered another gold/oil that they don’t have to kill for — a black gold that they can live for because it helps to make their lives better. It’s called: Black Seed Oil.

Millions of people have hailed this natural remedy as a wonder cure for many ailments that haunts the weary population of many nations.

The man hailed as the father of modern medicine (Hippocrates) advised that: All Diseases begin in the gut.

Black seed is a plant. People have used the seed to make medicine for over 2000 years. It was even discovered in the tomb of King Tut.

There are millions of online and word of mouth testimonials about the myriads of fixes that this little David in a bottle can do to the mighty Goliaths (diseases) and their attacks on the body and its members.

Here is what Web MD has to say about the inconclusiveness and effectiveness of Black Seed Oil and its uses:

  • Digestive problems including intestinal gas and diarrhea.
  • Cough.
  • Bronchitis.
  • Flu.
  • Congestion.
  • Boosting the immune system
  • Cancer prevention.
  • Birth control.
  • Menstrual disorders.
  • Increasing breast-milk flow
  • Achy joints (rheumatism).
  • Headache.
  • Other conditions.

More evidence is needed to rate the effectiveness of black seed for these uses.

It is important to note that many have taken the Hypocritical Oath. Therefore; these advocates might not necessarily be interested in natural healing.

Some Benefits Of Black Seed Oil

It is believed in some quarters that Black Seed Oil in some cases acts as a sealant inside the gut to help prevent bacteria from leaking past the gut lining out into the bloodstream, thus preventing a struggle between your white blood cells and the invaders/toxins or viruses which lead to inflammation.

Placing 8 healthy subjects on a Western-style diet for 1 month induced a 71% increase in plasma levels of endotoxin activity (endotoxemia), whereas a prudent-style diet reduced levels by 31%.

Interestingly, studies have also shown that an unhealthy diet can cause endotoxin levels in the blood to go up… Healthline.

Inflammation is the response of the immune system to foreign invaders, toxins and cell injury. Chronic inflammation, involving the entire body, is believed to drive many killer diseases… Healthline.

Black Seed is also found in the Bible in the Book of Isaiah in the Old Testament.: “For the Black Cumin is beaten out with a stick and the Cumin with a Rod.” (Isaiah 28: 25, 27 NKJV)

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). In his divine wisdom he said – “Use the Black Seed for indeed, it is a cure for all diseases except death.” Saheeh al-Bukharee 7:591

. Hippocrates, the father of modern medicine, was a wise man. Much of his wisdom, which is now …

According to WebMD, these are possible side effects of using black seed oil.

Special Precautions & Warnings:

Pregnancy and breastfeeding: Black seed seems to be safe in food amounts during pregnancy. But taking larger medicinal amounts is LIKELY UNSAFE. Black seed can slow down or stop the uterus from contracting.

Not much is known about the safety of using black seed during breastfeeding. Stay on the safe side and avoid use.

Children: Black seed oil is POSSIBLY SAFE for children when taken by mouth short-term and in recommended amounts.

Bleeding disorders: Black seed might slow blood clotting and increase the risk of bleeding. In theory, Black Seed Oil might make bleeding disorders worse.

Diabetes: Black seed might lower blood sugar levels in some people. Watch for signs of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) and monitor your blood sugar carefully if you have diabetes and use black seed.

Low blood pressure: Black seed might lower blood pressure. In theory, taking black seed might make blood pressure too low in people with low blood pressure.

Surgery: Black seed might slow blood clotting, reduce blood sugar, and increase sleepiness in some people. In theory, the black seed oil might increase the risk for bleeding and interfere with blood sugar control and anesthesia during and after surgical procedures. Stop using black seed at least two weeks before a scheduled surgery.

Of course, Black Seed Oil is not a cure-all, and one should always check with their healthcare provider before embarking on a new regiment “medicine(s)” to heal the body and its appendages.
