ESPN is reporting that a single gambler wagered a Million Dollars on the Falcons, against Coach Belichick and his New England Patriots team and lost it.

According to Sports Book, a company that takes bets on Super Bowl games, as the odds began coming in on Friday, someone wagered one million dollars on the Atlanta Falcons.

Sports Book is also reporting that about 61% of Superbowl gamblers wagered for the Atlanta Falcons.

 ESPN did not reveal the name of the person left heartbroken and one million dollars lighter. But whomever it is, they came pretty close to winning that bet until the New England Patriots led by Tom Brady on the field made a stunning recovery to win the game in overtime — 34-28.
