Dam Set To Over-run Spillway In Northern California: 130, 000 Flee For Their Lives.

In The Abundance Of Water, The Fool Is Thirsty… Proverbs 18.

Authorities in Northern California ordered the evacuation of up to 130,000 residents after the Department of Water Resources discovered that the auxiliary spillway of the Oroville Dam would fail.

Damn If You Do, Dam If You Don’t

The cost To Repair the Dam is estimated at 200 Million Dollars– if the spillway does in fact fail.

Some residents are concerned that authorities waited too long to do a thorough assessment of the aging dam and its spillway.

None-the-less, they’re taking the warning seriously, and most have left the area for safe grounds, after the order was given, at 4:40 p.m. on Sunday, to evacuate.

That was then; this is now. It will be utilized.
