Snowstorm Travels To New York, Boston, Washington, Maine And Philly. One Life Lost

Snowstorm: Worst For This Season — So Far

On Thursday, as a nor’easter passes through the New York, Boston, and Philadelphia areas, schools were forced to closed their doors and more than 3,800 flights were canceled.

One New York resident said, “It’s as the weather changed in the twinkle of an eye.”

Now more than 50 million residents, in the five-state region, have prepared themselves for possibly a foot of snow and cold weather to blanket the area of Maine and Washington.

One resident, 59-year-old Miguel Gonzalez fell through a glass window and was killed, while shoveling snow.

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said the man died from a heart attack. Authorities say the storm is dumping four inches of snow per hour on the region.
