Captured Fugitive Markeith Loyd Bloodied, Bruised And Argumentative In Court

A man who ran and hid from police for eight days, because he was “innocent,” appears in court.

The “man” accused in the killing of his pregnant ex-girlfriend (Sade Dixon) and OPD Lieutenant Debra Clayton stood before a judge, in defense of himself and rattled off a profanity-laced tirade.

Markeith Loyd alleged in court that he did not resist arrest and stated to the judge that “they done took my eye, broke my nose and broke my jaw.”

At the time of his hearing, the accused killer was not afforded the benefit of legal counsel.

Sinister Man

Orlando Police Chief Mena released a video of Loyd’s surrender and described him as, “extremely violent, dangerous and very unpredictable.”

After his arrest on Tuesday night (7.5 days after Master Sgt. Clayton had been shot and killed), Loyd’s face had the appearance of someone who was involved in a violent physical confrontation.

The 41-year old Loyd, reportedly, planned to represent himself at trial.

Loyd has been ordered, by the court, held without bond.
