The Right is Dead Wrong on Trump

What has changed since Donald introduced his brand of gutter politics to the American psyche and his opponents such as “Lying Ted” and Lil’ Marco” labeled him a sniveling coward, conman and a fraud?

Well, not much really, Trump is still being sued for fraud, based upon allegations that he’s conned several students and investors out of their money. He’s being investigated for using charitable donations to settle personal law suits, as well as using donations to purchase a self-portrait to decorate one of his private businesses.

Because of political expediency Ted has not only decided to vote for Trump, but he has now endorsed him whole heartedly.

With Ted’s embrace and endorsement of Donald, it begs the question – was Trump right about his assertion that Cruz’ father was involved in the assination of President John F. Kennedy?

Absentee US Senator Marco Rubio or as Trump dubbed him Lil’ Marco, as he now known to the world… Lil’ Marco has also enthusiastically thrown his support to Trump. And has also tossed his hat into the ring to (reclaim his seat or) run for one of the two Senate seats of Florida.

At first, Rubio bold-facedly states to the public that he would not seek reelection to congress, but after getting calls from his high-roller, wealthy handlers – Rubio was forced to recalibrate his former statements of not seeking reelection.

In endorsing Trump, most of Trump’s former opponents – during the primaries — give the rationale for their support of him, as keeping their word or pledge they made to rightwing publicist Fox News Network, at the top of the first presidential debates that were held Thursday, August 6, 2015.

The irony is that the one person or candidate who would not give his pledge of support to the other sixteen candidates was Donald J. Trump.

In fact, throughout his campaign, Trump has threatened to not just mount an independent run for the Whitehouse, but also made clear that he would not give a pledge of support to any of the other candidates — if he were not selected as the Republican nominee.

A quick review, at a glance, of our world of politics, it’s safe to say that big money, political expediency, self-aggrandizing and outright lies to the public is the order of the political day.
