[CORAL SPRINGS, FL]
Bobbing and “Weaving,” a Coral Springs High School student dragged another by her weave across The campus parking lot,
while kicking and punching her on her head and body.
The near “Mortal Combat” fight occurred on Monday at Taravella High School in Coral Springs, Florida.
The mother (Alita Polydor) of the assailant defended her daughter’s behavior, “She’s not a monster. She was bullied, and this was her reaction to an action.”
Some student witnesses on the scene videotaped the beating. The video showed the 16-year-old beater took a break from beating the other female student (went and sat on the back of a Pickup Truck), then resumed the assault.
Ms. Polydor says the video does not tell the whole story.
Sure, nor did the Rodney King video. It didn’t tell the whole story.
Some long-time area residents and parents of kids at Taravella High said they cried when they saw the video.
“It just shows how violent life is at Taravella,” another parent said.
Both girls have been giving an outdoor suspension. A third female student was arrested for participating in the fight.

A Backstabber Used His Stake Knife At A Fast Food Restaurant to Stab…
Hialeah Police is trying to identify an 18-year-old man who stabbed another high school student in the back.
A throng of students was hanging out at a nearby Wendy’s restaurant at 46 E. 49th Street when a fight broke out. A baseball bat was introduced during the melee, at which time a male produced a knife and stabbed another teenager in his back. Apparently, he likes his steak rear.
Police are still trying to determine if the backstabber was a student of the nearby high school.
A naive student witness (on the scene) states that this kind of thing doesn’t happen in Hialeah — only car accidents.
She needs to go home and watch TV or read the News Paper more often. Dingbat.
The 15-year-old victim was airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital, according to Hialeah Fire Department official Cesar Espinoza.
