The Garden of Eden: First Registered Bordered Land.
Imagine there is no heaven, above us only sky.
So sings the late John Lennon.
Looking down from space, the lines of demarcation that separate and divide nations and people don’t exist.
But from time immemorial “man” in his infinite wisdom has staked out land plots and territories and called it his own — mostly for security reasons.
Nowadays lines or borders are drawn not just to divide nations but to establish towns, cities, counties, and states within a country — mostly for tax purposes and security purposes.
When first act of someone entering a country is criminal, it does not speak well of the person entering the country.
There are over 1.1 million people who legally enter the United States on permanent visas each year.
Those 1.1 million migrants stand in line and follow an orderly process prescribed by their host country.
There are three code words that media and generals use to influence hearts and minds.
These are the three code words that scribes use to pull on the emotions and heartstrings of people: Women, children and the elderly.
And rightfully so, these code words should evoke a certain amount of “emotions” in us when those words are reasonably tied to some form of mistreatment of any one of the three protected class.
However, false issues and pseudo-state of mind arise when scribes begin to use those three coded words to incite a desired response from the populace and get them to charge in a specific direction like a herd bolting and running blindly at the sound of a gunshot.
Sooner or later the practitioners of over-use and misapplication of the three codes will find they have cultivated a collective “boy cried wolf” soul amongst citizens.
Consequently, the boy crying wolf syndrome will eventually cause nullification of the three code words.
Illegally crossing into another country’s border is a misdemeanor but putting the life of your children at risk for financial gain is a felony.
Parents who jump fence after fence or border after border are unjustifiably and feloniously putting their children at risk for financial gain.
One should never take their kid to a Wal-Mart or a bank and teach them how to shoplift or rob the bank because if caught, the government will step in to put the offender in jail and steward your life and that of your child.
So like the legendary Lennon once imagined, some people from time to time imagine there are no heavens, but whether we acknowledge heaven above or not, the reality is there is earth, and there are lines of demarcation and boundaries that all nations have set up under its laws.
