In Texas: Everything is Bigger.

But it’s time to reduce the size of gun violence.

On Saturday 08/28/2019, a disgruntled employee, 36-year-old Seth Ator was fired by his employer Journey Oil Field Services. After his firing, Seth called the police to complain about his mistreatment by his supervisors. His company also called the police to complain about his behavior.

When the disgruntled gunman left his former place of employment, he was already armed with an assault rifle that he had taken to his workplace. On his way home he also called the FBI to complain about his perceived (on the job) mistreatment.

Another Massacre In Texas at the Hands of a Madman

The gunman was spotted by two Highway Patrol Officers — they decided to pull him over, at which time a gun battle ensued. As a result of the gunfight, at least one of the officers sustained a non-life-threatening injury. A vehicle chase followed and along the way (between the cities of Odessa and Midland), the crazed gunman kidnapped and killed a Letter Carrier.

In addition to the mailman, Ator shot and killed six people and wounded 22 others — including a 17-month-old toddler.

Police eventually caught up to Ator in a movie theatre parking lot, where he was fatally shot. The FBI said the gunman did not make any threats during the rambling phone message that he left on their tipline.

Below is a list of the names of the deceased victims of Ator’s rampage. DECEASED:
