A former star quarterback athlete for South Dade Senior High was shot and killed in broad daylight on the searing hot streets of South Florida.
Nineteen-year-old Marlin Goodluck was walking with a friend in Southwest Miami-Dade, near Southwest 205th Street and 122nd Avenue at or about 6:00 p.m. when a hateful predator willfully, maliciously and without just cause snuffed out his life.
The High School star athlete had never been in trouble with the law and was not a member of any public gang.
Marlin graduated from SDSHS and was looking for a job.
One major question that should be asked is: Why was Marlin not given the scholarship to attend college after his young body was used to glorify the high school that he attended?
His mother stood in the streets and cried out for someone to help find the killer(s) of her son.
“If you all love him like you say you did, then turn in the person(s) that killed him,” said Goodluck’s mother, Tracey Lyon as she bemoaned his passing.
Goodluck was the quarterback for South Dade Senior High School. He was player number 10.

Miami-Dade Police arrested two 15-year-old boys and charged them with the May 7th killing of an automotive dealership security guard.
Police have identified the teens as Derrick Warren, 15, and Edward Lopez, 15.
Police say the boys are responsible for stealing four cars from the dealership, after the brutal slaughtering of the guard.
The guard was found at Reny’s Auto Sales in the 22000 block of South Dixie Highway, with multiple stab wounds and a bullet in his head in a pool of blood.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by Miami-Dade Fire Recuse.
On May 7th at about 11:44 p.m., while investigating a hit and run, officers saw a red Kia Soul with no tags and marking that indicate it was from Reny’s Auto Sales.
The plot to rob and murder the security guard was hatched, according to Warren, when the two boys approached Reny’s Auto and asked the guard what was the price for a yellow Kia.
They claim the guard said, “fuck you” and instructed them to “go fuck your grandmother.”
They left, came back armed with a knife and beer bottle — attacked the victim, placed him in a chokehold, beat him on his head with a rock and stabbed him numerous times.

The victim told Warren that he had a gun, the police report said, and Warren disarmed him by grabbing the gun and placing it in his pocket.
Warren began ransacking the business and located a box of keys, police said. While they were sifting through the keys, the teens continued to strike the victim in the head with fists.
Lopez and Warren stole four vehicles from the dealership, police said.
The two savages ended up crashing two of the cars, after a brief chase by police. They were both captured at the scene of the collision.
Warren has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder, armed robbery, burglary and false imprisonment. Edward was arrested on charges of first-degree murder, robbery, burglary and false imprisonment.

Miami Gardens Police are searching for a man who shot three teens walking near Bunche Park.
One of the victims is Ty (last name withheld for fear of retaliation) lost a leg due to the shooting of the wanton Savage that shot him.
Ty who recently turned 18 was only seventeen at the time of the October 15th, 2016 shooting attacks.
He recalls how while he and his two friends were walking a car approached them, someone exited the car and began shooting at them.
As he dove for cover behind a car the culprit chased him down and continued to fire on him. Ty was hit a total of seven times by bullets.
“I had never seen anything like this, anything like this before, in my life,” Alba Jofre said speaking on the behalf of his friend.
