Miami-Dade police Shot And Killed 82-Year-Old Man Who Barricaded Himself In His Home.

Metro-Dade Police Rolled Out Tanks To Kill an Octogenarian Man.

PINECREST, FL.

An old man who had too much to drink was shot and killed by Miami-Dade Police Officers after his wife called 911 — late Friday night — to say her husband was threatening to shoot at police.

The family dispute occurred Friday night 12700 block of SW 82nd Avenue in the Pine Crest Community.

SWAT was dispatched to the house, and early Saturday morning they breached the home and removed the woman and her adult son.

Shortly after that shots were fired, and the 82-year-old intoxicated man identified as Theodore Brendecke was injured and taken to the hospital.

He was later pronounced dead by the attending physicians.

It is not known if the man fired at police. There were no police officers injured.

Neighbors say the family has lived there for more than 30 years.

Dade County Police log shows that they have visited the residence in the past for domestic issues.

Let’s hope this was not a suicide by a cop case (of an old and sick man) for insurance money.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is investigating the shooting.
