HENRY COUNTY, Ga.
Never Wake A Sleeping Giant!
On Wednesday, at about 4:00 a.m., upon returning “home,” rapper T.I. Allegedly discovered a security guard sleeping on the job.
After waking the graveyard shift security guard and requesting entry to the gated housing complex, the guard (Euwan James) refused to allow the rapper entry to the development.
T.I did not have his gate key on his person. An argument erupted between the men — the guard who is now wide awake and T.I who is still intoxicated.
The rapper called his wife Tameka “Tiny” Cottle who was home at the time to very that he does reside at the Eagles Landing Country Club located at 100 Eagles Landing Way.
Tiny requested that T.I.be allowed in. However, the rent-a-cop still refused to let him in. It was verified that the drunken rapper challenged the guard to a fight, yelling at the guard to come out and settle the dispute man to man.
The guard called his supervisor who arrived on the scene and in turn, called for police assistance.
When officers from the Henry County Police Department arrived on the scene, they reviewed the video and T.I. was taken into custody — at about 5:00 a.m.
A police report says, T.I. was charged with simple assault, disorderly conduct, and public drunkenness.
Upon meeting with officers, the 37-year-old rapper whose legal name Clifford Harris Jr admitted to police that he went to his residence to retrieve a weapon and alcohol.
He claimed that he drank the alcohol while walking back to the guard shack. He lives about half mile in from the guardhouse.
Comment:
(1) Once the guard determined that the rapper was a resident of the community, the envious rent-a-cop should have allowed him inside, regardless of the fact that he was initially yelled at by T.I. A man’s house is his castle.
(2) If you’ve managed to elevate status in life financially but cannot upgrade your simple mind, you should not force yourself to live in communities that you’re not fit to live.
(3) T.I is said to worth US$50 million — money cannot buy you, class.
(4) I’m sure the security guard would quit his job but he wouldn’t any place else to go to sleep.
