Feeling embolden by Besty DeVos’ (50-51 Senate) confirmation as Education Secretary — Pennsylvania legislatures voted to get rid of Sabbatical paid sick leave and bereavement leave for teachers.

DeVos, who is married to the founder of the pyramid scheme company, Amway, is a billionaire Republican who’s donated millions of dollars to the Republican Party — over the years.

There are some who had said that Secretary DeVoe had never set foot inside of a public school until recently when she tried to enter one and was blocked by protesters.

She is a staunch opponent of public schools.

While there are teacher-employees, who abuse the “Sick Leave” benefit, getting rid of paid sick leave for teachers would be criminal. And it should be considered a declaration of war against, not only Public School teachers, but against all students that attend public schools and by extension — their family.

This cruel and unusual punishment is not a Republican or Democratic problem, it is a life and death matter that affect Americans, regardless of which political side of the spectrum they fall on.

Now, such a destructive declaration of denying bereavement leave, to teachers, if passed could spread like wildfire. Because once the precedent has been set, they can move on to other Public Employees — for example, Transportation, Law Enforcement Officers, etc, etc.senate, and then onto the private sector.
