Superbowl LI (51) The Atlanta Falcons v. New England Patriots — Patriots WIN 34-28!

Superbowl LI ended the 1st quarter without any the two 2017 Super-teams scoring any points.

The dry spell didn’t last for long, within five minutes into the 2nd quarter the Falcon’s Devonte Freeman (# 24 / Running Back) scored the first touchdown. The 5’9″, 209 lbs two-year rookie attended Miami Central High School and played for Florida State University.

As usual, everybody and their grandmothers were in on the game of predicting who would win the game. Both teams are led by MVP-candidate quarterbacks Tom Brady and Matt Ryan.

Americans have wagered more than 4.7 Billion Dollars on the game.

The New England Patriots were favored to win the game with a 3 point spread and capture the Lombardi Trophy.

Even President Trump predicted that the Patriots would win the Superbowl with an eight-point lead.

But at 48 minutes into the game and 12 minutes after Freeman’s  touchdown — the second touchdown was scored. The game started at 6:40 p.m. and by 7:44 p.m., the Falcons enjoyed a 21-point lead over the Patriots, when Robert Alford (#23) scored the third touchdown for the Falcons.

The halftime show, starring Lady Gaga started with a 21-3, for the Falcons.

Lady Gaga took to the stage singing “God Bless America,” this land is your land, this land is my land.

Superbowl fans and many others were on the edge of their seats wondering if Gaga was going to go political during her performance. And she did not disappoint (to a degree) those who had hoped that she would go political — in light of Trump’s controversial Muslim ban.

Gaga did a .05 politically-lite performance during her second selection. But aside from that “Lady” Gaga show for some was a semi-dud, as she pranced around the stage in a zirconium-glittered fill Pamper.

After the Halftime show, it appears that the Pats found their footing, but the good times did not last for long. At 8:54 p.m. the Falcons Tevin Coleman scored the fourth touchdown in the game. The score now stands at 28-3, the Falcons leads. Later on in the game, Coleman was taken off the field to be x-rayed, after taking a massive hit.

Tom Brady #12 (Patriots Q.B.)

At 9:07 p.m., the Patriots scored their first touchdown of the night. This touchdown brought the score to 28-9 — kicker Stephen Gostkowski missed the goal and the extra point.

In the fourth quarter, at first and goal Brady got sacked, by Jarret (#97), as he searched for an opening and hesitated to throw the ball.

This brought to 14 the number of times Brady had been hit during the game.

By 9:40 p.m. two hours after kickoff the Patriots had moved up to 20 points, just eight points below the Falcons.

With just 2 minutes to go in the game, the Pats Julian Edelman performed an unbelievable feat that put the Patriots back in the running and eventually caused the game to tie at 28-28.

At 10:15 p.m. a new game went into effect/game went into overtime — score: 28-28.

Final score 34-28 Patriots
