Killer Company FP&L Thrives Despite Blunders.

Six months after many family members accused Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) of contributing to the deaths of their loved ones, who were left in a nursing home to die — due to a power failure.

To this day The company’s executives, file, and rank remain indifferent to the negligible service it provides to its over-charged customers.

On September 10th the Hollywood Hills nursing home facility was left without electricity after it lost power when Hurricane Irma slammed into South Florida.

Reportedly, at least 14 deaths were related to the loss of power and failure of FPL to restore electricity to the facility promptly.

The mega light company, which has monopolized electric distribution to most of Florida, and has a too big to fail mentality, is yet to take responsibility for the torturous deaths of the bedridden elderly that died in the nursing facility.

Survivors of the deceased have sued FP&L.

FPL has been successfully sued in the past for negligence that led to the deaths of an entire family of seven.

Florida Attorney Willie Gary handled that case and eventually forced the light company to agree to repair and improve their faulty equipment — that caused the death of the family.

The incident in the Limestone Creek Road area, where the Fulks family lived that suffered the loss, where a downed power line fell on their home and electrocuted the victims ranging in age from 7 months old to 44 years.

As is always the case, the mega companies pass on the cost of the settlement to the paying customers.

Consequently, the customers pay for greed and negligence of FPL.

On March 13th, 2018, customers in the Lauderhill area woke up (early morning) to temperatures in the low 50s; only to find that due to Florida Power & Light faulty equipment, they were left without electricity.

The affected Inverrary area is surrounded by several nursing homes and senior living facilities.

When we contacted mad the company, a representative of FPL (Lori) seemed unconcerned, spoke nonchalantly and did not seem to be aware of the outage.

Some FPL workers it appears seems more interested in peering into houses than customer service.
