After playing the role of a wrecking ball, to the Trump’s campaign, in the first general debate, Hillary developed a new strategy for the second debate. Anticipating that a battered Trump would heed the advice of GOP the stalwarts and come out swinging, Ms. Clinton decides to play the Rope-a-Dope with Donald, as he continued flailing away.
On the one hand, on the debate stage, Donald had the appearance of someone fighting two opponents in the ring at once.
He continuously tried to suck up (through his nostrils) all the air in the room.
Roaming about on stage like a listless fighter, Donald began doing chair push ups, while Ms. Clinton laid down her case like a seasoned attorney.
The debate got testy for Trump when he tried unsuccessfully to press Hillary’s email debacle.
As the Hill gave him the Rope-a-Dope, dodge and slip, Donald paced about like a distracted Bullfighter looking an invisible bull to fight.
The Ring Master and avid Circus Barker was on the ropes and out of breath. And his brain-washed cult followers weren’t able to go on stage and assist him.
Although some, GOP stalwarts believed Donald won the debate, including his running mate One Pence who tweeted after the debate, “Congrats to my running mate, Trump on a big debate win, proud to stand with you.”
There are many others who still see Trump as a liability to many down ballot candidates.
Several Republican Party members have jumped ship and publicly announced that they will not vote for Trump in the upcoming elections.
Polls are now showing Hillary with an eleven point lead and win margin if the elections were held today. And this is even after the second debate that Trump’s loyal supporter believed he won.
While some Red Coats may say it’s not over ‘til it’s over… now even the Dems that harbored doubts in their minds about Hillary’s viability and electability, because of her dogged email controversy, have now cast aside all doubts and are ready to see the country continue to move forward with the 45th president of the United States and first woman to lead our nation – after two hundred and forty years of male presidency and leadership.
